The Nashville-style music bar and barbecue joint Bristol Republic recently opened in its new location in the heart of Dublin’s Bridge Park, completing the move from their old Short North spot to an expansive new space!

The new location fills the corner space below the Springhill Suites, and actually serves as the official restaurant and room service for the hotel.
Bristol Republic is roughly split into three different areas: a main dining room with a stage, a smaller cocktail bar with jazz, and an upstairs bar.

The Saddle Club is their cocktail lounge, tucked into the rear of the space. It features live music like jazz and smaller duos.

And it’s a full bar with a handsome whiskey list, cocktails, and beers.

Many of the cocktails come with a little show, especially if you order your cocktails smoked (I can’t resist it).

We tried the Roped & Toasted with tequila, allspice, and candied pineapple, as well as the Smoke Show with bourbon, s’mores syrup, Teddy Graham, and toasted marshmallow.

The main dining room features a small stage with live music.

And here we tasted the Sunset Stampede with tequila, mezcal, and blood orange. And Land-Grant Brewing makes a special beer just for them, the Bristol Light.

It’s a barbecue-heavy menu, starting with the brisket potato skins.

And the deviled eggs topped with fried chicken.

Kudos to the double smashburger with crispy onions.

The Pit Master Plate gives you a sample of brisket, pulled pork, wings, and ribs. All quite good!

Final stop is the neon-decked upstairs bar, with tables for lounging and a billiards table.

Bristol Republic also features a covered patio if you prefer hanging outside.

In addition to lunch and brunch, Bristol Republic offers weekend brunch and late-night hours on weekends.
It’s open Monday, 4-11 p.m.; Tuesday-Wednesday, 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.; Thursday, 11 a.m. to 1 a.m.; Friday, 11 a.m. to 2 a.m.; Saturday, 10 a.m. to 2 a.m.; and Sunday, 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.
