LYNDHURST, Ohio – Fogo de Chão, a Brazilian steakhouse, is expanding its Midwest footprint with a location in Legacy Village.

Fogo de Chão, known for its elevated churrasco dining experience, will be located at 24325 Cedar Road and is expected to open in 2027.

Customers will have a 360-degree view of an open churrasco grill to watch Gaucho Chefs butcher, hand carve and grill cuts of protein over fire.

The 46-year-old Fogo de Chão (pronounced “shown”) emphasizes churrasco – roasting high-quality cuts of meat over an open flame. It offers a prix fixe experience with a continuous selection of proteins butchered daily, simply seasoned and grilled to create a salty bark, then carved tableside. The menu includes chicken, lamb, pork and seafood. A “market table” offers a selection of seasonal salads, charcuterie, exotic fruit, superfoods and other items. It also offers a shareable Wagyu New York Strip.

The Legacy Village location, which is going into the former Brio Italian Grille space, will be the second location in Ohio. The first is in Columbus.

The planned opening in Northeast Ohio is part of the Brazil-based company’s continued growth strategy across the United States and internationally. It has more than 80 U.S. locations and recently opened restaurants in Charlotte; Glendale, Arizona; and Peabody, Massachusetts. It also has a global reach and is planning locations in Rio de Janeiro and Tegucigalpa, Honduras.
