A restaurant specializing in what it calls “Japanese-inspired teriyaki and comfort food” has opened in Arden Arcade.
From the standard chicken teriyaki to a “Teri” burger, My Favorite Teriyaki at 2617 Marconi Ave. serves grilled, tangy dishes dressed in honey spicy sauce and teriyaki sauce.
My Favorite Teriyaki serves four types of teriyaki dishes, including teriyaki plates, teriyaki bowls, Katsu and Korean combination plates and burgers with wings. Its teriyaki plates and bowls come with chicken, beef, tofu and salmon, according to its online menu.
The eatery also serves non-teriyaki marinated dishes, including a popcorn chicken plate and spicy pork bulgogi plate.
Craving a juicy and tender teriyaki burger? The “Teri” burgers range from a traditional beef patty with mayonnaise, tomato, onion, lettuce and American cheese, to an experimental Hawaiian burger served with grilled pineapple.
“We bring together delicious teriyaki favorites, Japanese-inspired comfort food, and satisfying meals made for everyday enjoyment,” the restaurant’s website read.
My Favorite Teriyaki is replacing a restaurant of a similar concept known as I Love Teriyaki. The spot closed in 2025 and was among five locations of the chain restaurant in the Sacramento area.
The restaurant is located at the Town & Country Village shopping center, between Fulton and Marconi Avenues. This plaza is anchored by Sprouts Farmers Market, according to Phillips Edison & Company. Town & Country Village has served the Arden Arcade community since 1946.
My Favorite Teriyaki is open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily.
