These Phoenix Indian restaurants were named among best in US

Yelp recently published its list of Top 100 Indian restaurants in the U.S. and two Phoenix restaurants made the cut.

The list compiled all-time reviews for businesses listed in the Indian restaurant category, then ranked those spots based on number and rating of reviews. No state had more than 10 restaurants featured to ensure geographic diversity.

Maya’s Kitchen in Phoenix was No. 50 on Yelp’s list. It was also one of our essential restaurants for 2026. Maya’s Kitchen has 4.9 stars on Yelp and serves Indian classics like butter chicken, vegetable biryani and garlic naan.

City of Spice in Phoenix was No. 91 on Yelp’s list. The restaurant has 4.6 stars on Yelp and serves spicy Halal Indian cuisine, such as chicken biryani, palak paneer, samosas and dosas.

Maya’s Kitchen is open from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday through Sunday; closed Monday.
