A national breakfast and lunch chain plans is eyeing locations in the Lehigh Valley as part of larger expansion into Pennsylvania.
Eggs Up Grill is “currently targeting development opportunities in markets” in Allentown as well Lancaster, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, Harrisburg and Scranton, a Tuesday news release announced.
The online menu lists options such as chicken-fried steak and eggs, biscuits and gravy, bacon, omelets, pancakes, waffles, doughnuts, sandwiches and salads.
The restaurants are open daily from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m., the news release said.
Eggs Up Grill has partnered with restaurant operator the Metz Group as part of its expansion. Metz Group recently opened its first Eggs Up Grill location in Stroud Township, Monroe County.
“Pennsylvania represents a major opportunity for Eggs Up Grill as we expand further into the Northeast,” CEO Ricky Richardson said in the release. “Our partnership with the Metz Group gives us strong momentum in the state, and we see tremendous potential to grow the brand across multiple markets while creating opportunities for additional franchise partners.”
Founded in South Carolina, the chain operates over 100 locations nationwide and expects over 90 more to open in the future, the news release added.
