Where do you want to eat? It’s a question we have all heard before.
Sometimes, choosing a place to eat is harder than deciding what to order.
In Fresno, there are plenty of dining options to choose from, and everyone seems to have a favorite.
OpenTable released the latest edition of its monthly Diners’ Choice rankings for Fresno on Aug. 5.
The online reservation platform looked for local eateries with the most bookings and the best reviews in July, spotlighting popular options across the Fresno area.
Here’s which local eateries landed the most reservations:

Brazilian steakhouse chain Texas de Brazil offers an authentic rodizio-style dining experience with chefs carving up endless tableside servings of flame-grilled beef, lamb, pork, chicken and sausages.
In addition to all-you-can-eat meat, the churrascaria’s menu offers a sizable salad area with vegetables, artisan cheeses and charcuterie, plus Brazilian-style appetizers, side dishes and cocktails.
OpenTable reviewer Silvia wrote about her first visit to Texas de Brazil at Fresno’s River Park Shopping Center.
As of Aug. 5, the restaurant had an average OpenTable rating of 4.5 out of five.
“(The) drinks and food were excellent,” with “the best ribs I’ve tasted in a while,” the reviewer said. “I will definitely return.”

“We are dedicated to using fresh local produce along with our homemade artisan breads to ensure a quality and healthy dining experience,” the restaurant said on its website.
As of Aug. 5, the restaurant had an average OpenTable rating of 4.8 out of five.
“Great food as always,” OpenTable reviewer Stephen wrote. “The charcuterie board is always amazing and a good value as an appetizer for four people.”

Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse in Fresno offers a fine dining experience with steak, seafood, wine and cocktails, according to its website.
Menu highlights include seared ahi tuna, filet mignon with lobster tail and jumbo scallops with wild mushroom risotto.

“The food was better than excellent and your servers and all employees are the best,” Central Coast OpenTable user Gail wrote in a five-star review. “I always have a fantastic and tasty meal and a good time.”

The restaurant offers steaks, seafood, salads and signature side dishes in an upscale steakhouse setting.

BJ’s Restaurant & Brewhouse got its start in 1978 in Santa Ana.
Diners come for the chain’s “award-winning handcrafted beer” and “the Southern California twist we’ve put on the Chicago-style deep dish pizza,” the restaurant said on its website, as well as its signature Pizookie dessert.
“Our experience … at BJ’s was wonderful,” OpenTable user Angelica of San Jose wrote in a five-star review. “Great service, great food and overall was a quiet place to enjoy our friends’ company.”

The Old Spaghetti Factory serves up a myriad of menu options in a unique setting complete with antique lighting, intricate stained glass displays, large colorful booths and an old-fashioned trolley car.
“Every entree is a “complete meal,” the restaurant said, served with hot freshly-baked sourdough bread, soup or salad and ice cream for dessert.
The Old Spaghetti Factory in Fresno had a 4.5-star average rating on OpenTable as of Aug. 5.
“The staff was very friendly. The food was amazing,” OpenTable reviewer Mary B. of San Joaquin wrote. “I really enjoyed the experience.”

“The Vintage is an excellent restaurant,” Central Coast OpenTable reviewer Lane wrote in a five star review. “My wife and I have visited there five times and have yet to be disappointed.”

The Palms offers elevated American cuisine, specializing in “prime steaks, fresh seafood, and an exceptional wine selection.”
“Our menu remains focused and intentional, allowing us to maintain a standard of excellence using the freshest premium ingredients,” the restaurant said.

“The Palms is our favorite place to eat,” OpenTable reviewer Cynthia of San Joaquin wrote. “They never disappoint.”

How did OpenTable rate most-booked Fresno restaurants?
OpenTable analyzed nearly 500,000 new global diner reviews in July and sorted the results by location to “help you discover new favorite restaurants,” according to the booking site.
“It’s a great partnership: you reserve, eat and review,” OpenTable said. “We listen … and deliver the results for all to benefit.”
