Nicollet Mall will morph into one of the world’s longest dining tables once again.
MINNEAPOLIS — A super-communal dining experience is coming back to downtown Minneapolis this fall.
On Thursday, Sept. 10, the city will shut down several blocks of Nicollet Mall to host Dinner Du Nord.
Last year, about 2,000 people sat down for “America’s largest dinner party.”
This year, dozens of restaurants and food trucks will be participating.

Tickets go on sale July 1.
Tickets can be purchased directly from the restaurant or food truck. It’s a fixed-price offering and “you will be seated in that restaurant’s section,” according to the website. “The pricing is all-inclusive: gratuity and taxes are included. Ticket sales end 9/6 and cannot be purchased on site.”
