Mambo Cuban Restaurant + Lounge is opening its newest location at 412 Bloomfield Avenue in Bloomfield, bringing Cuban eats, cocktails, and lively vibes to the neighborhood. The restaurant will celebrate its grand opening on Friday, September 18th, complete with a ribbon-cutting ceremony. Mambo Cuban Restaurant + Lounge was created to celebrate Cuban culture through food, music, and hospitality. The restaurant combines traditional Cuban recipes with a lively, contemporary dining experience designed for everything from casual meals to birthdays and other celebrations. The Bloomfield outpost is the restaurant group’s newest New Jersey location, joining its existing restaurants in Union, New Jersey and Harrison, New Jersey.

What’s on the Menu

The menu features Cuban and Latin dishes ranging from shareable starters to sandwiches, rice dishes, seafood, and house specialties. Guests can start with shrimp ceviche, croquetas, empanadas, tostones, or the Mambo Platter, which includes pork crackling, ham croquettes, a stuffed potato, corn fritters, beef empanadas, and a Cuban tamale. The sandwich selection includes the Mambo Cubano, made with roasted pork, ham, Swiss cheese, and pickles, as well as pan con bistec and croqueta preparada. Larger dishes include ropa vieja, lechón asado, paella, arroz imperial, churrasco, mofongo, and whole fried snapper.
