The Arthur Treacher’s in Cuyahoga Falls was all that remained for years. But now the chain is expanding as Lakewood now marks its fourth location in Northeast Ohio.
LAKEWOOD, Ohio — The wait is over.
The new Arthur Treacher’s Fish & Chips location in Lakewood hosted its grand opening Wednesday morning, which comes two months after the chain announced their plans to expand with a fourth restaurant in Northeast Ohio.
“New location. Same legendary taste,” according to the restaurant’s Facebook page, which posted a picture of the new restaurant just hours before the grand opening.

Hungry? You will find this Arthur Treacher’s at 11750 Madison Ave., which is located at the former Joe’s Deli. We’re also told this same location was previously an Arthur Treacher’s about 30 years ago.

THE ARTHUR TREACHER’S COMEBACK
Just a few years ago back in 2022, the lone-existing Arthur Treacher’s in Cuyahoga Falls had become a nostalgic destination that was proudly celebrating its 50th anniversary — and 3News’ Mike Polk Jr. was able to experience that milestone, which you can watch in the video below:
That location in Cuyahoga Falls was the only Arthur Treacher’s location left standing for years after the fish and chips chain had closed all of its other restaurants nationwide.
And now their expansion continues…

In addition to fish and chips, the menu at Arthur Treacher’s also includes chicken, shrimp, hot dogs and coleslaw. Oh… And don’t forget the hushpuppies!
