Drugs found, ICE takes 16 people into custody after warrant served at Oklahoma City restaurant
OKLAHOMA CITY —
The Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics seized drugs, and more than a dozen people were taken into U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement custody after a warrant was served at a restaurant in OKC.

Around 12:30 a.m. Friday, the OBN’s Marijuana Enforcement Teams and Human Trafficking Unit served a warrant at the Lucky Zhang Seafood Restaurant on Northwest 23rd Street near Classen Boulevard as part of an ongoing investigation.
Authorities said OBN agents found “trafficking amounts” of methamphetamine, ketamine, and ecstasy. They also seized a firearm.
“This investigation includes black-market marijuana trafficking from grow operations around the state linked to people associated with the Lucky Zhang restaurant,” OBN spokesman Mark Woodward said in a news release. “We are also investigating ties to other elements of organized crime including human trafficking and money laundering.”

Agency officials also said ICE took 16 people into custody. More arrests are expected as the investigation continues, according to the news release.
“At one point, it was our understanding this was some kind of restaurant, but certainly our investigation shows there is some other kind of criminal activity taking place,” Woodward said.
Information about the suspects detained by ICE has not been released.
