This ranking comes from 50 Top Pizza, an Italian guide that uses anonymous inspectors to rate pizzerias worldwide.

Chicago Pizza Joint Named One of the Best in the World
Robert’s Pizza and Dough Company in Chicago’s Streeterville neighborhood tied for 35th-best in the world.
Located at 465 N. McClurg Court, this husband-and-wife-owned pizza joint has already gotten some big-time recognition in 2026.

It tied for the 8th-best pizza place in the entire United States and was the only spot in Illinois to make the global Top 100.
Speaking of the rest of the planet, the best pizza joint on Earth isn’t in Italy as you would expect but in London, England.

London Pizza Joint Takes the World’s Top Spot
Napoli on the Road took the top spot, and as a big pizza eater who just spent the last week in London, I can’t begin to tell you how upset I am that I missed the chance to eat there.
I guess I can drown my sorrows in a slice of pie at Robert’s Pizza and Dough Company. It wasn’t #1, but it at least made the list.
