MESA, AZ (AZFamily) — It’s Something Good when a local restaurant honors the Granite Mountain Hotshots, while supporting wildland firefighters and their families.
Red, White, & Brew recently presented a check to the Eric Marsh Foundation for Wildland Firefighters.
Through a month-long campaign at the restaurant’s two locations in Mesa and Prescott, customers helped to raise $2,600 for the nonprofit.
Marsh was the superintendent of the Granite Mountain Hotshots who dedicated nearly 25 years to the fire service.
He, along with 18 of his crew members, died in the Yarnell Hill Fire in 2013.

Amanda Marsh created the foundation in her husband’s name. The foundation’s mission is to provide financial assistance, mental health resources and other support for wildland firefighters and their families.
This fundraiser is one of several that Red, White, & Brew holds throughout the year as a way to give back to the community.
