The Phoenix, located at 111 West 2nd St. in downtown, says it’s facing “very difficult challenges” and “may not be here much longer” without community support. It’s been in the community for over 16 years.
“The Phoenix has been a place where people have celebrated anniversaries, birthdays, engagements, promotions, retirements, weddings, girls’ nights, date nights, and countless special memories,” the Facebook post reads. “We’ve been honored to be part of so many moments in this community!”

The restaurant said that for those who have ever thought about stopping by, now is the time.
