Alexandria VA – The team behind Duke’s Grocery is opening Duke’s Burgers, its new fast-casual concept and first Virginia location at 1621 Crystal Drive in Arlington VA. The official opening date is Wednesday, July 1, at Water Park in National Landing.
Duke’s Grocery is a popular Washington, D.C.-based neighborhood pub and restaurant inspired by British gastropubs. It opened in 2013 in Dupont Circle and has since expanded to several locations in D.C., earning a loyal following—especially for its burgers.
Duke’s Burgers is bringing a streamlined, fast-casual spin on the Duke’s Grocery brand, featuring its signature burgers, including the award-winning Proper Burger®. The menu also features Wagyu and Impossible burgers, fish and chips, Hackney Hot Wings, sandwiches, fries, white truffle mac and cheese, and more.
“We’re excited to join the National Landing community and bring Duke’s Burgers to Virginia,” said Managing Partner Daniel Kramer. “Water Park is an incredible gathering place, and we look forward to serving our new neighbours, as well as everyone who lives, works, and visits here. Many of our great Duke’s Grocery guests live in Northern Virginia, and we wanted to shorten their commute.”
Duke’s Burgers will be open daily from 11:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Adult beverages will be introduced shortly after opening.
