Cheyenne, Wyo. – Time is ticking until the start of this year’s local eatery and drink showcase as 31 businesses are participating in the 2026 Cheyenne Restaurant Week.
In speaking to a couple, they are just itching for residents to walk through the door.
The Albany General Manager Britney Sullivan states, “it brings people in, it helps the community. People are more in tune to what’s going on, and they’re wanting to go around to the different restaurants for Restaurant Week.”
Some of Cheyenne’s staple spots for a bite to eat or sip to drink are serving up special menus and pricing for another year of efforts getting people out and about in town.
One of the businesses participating, Paramount Cafe & Ballroom is bringing something new for their second year being featured which Wyoming News Now is told is in order to combat some spring-time challenges.
Owner of the Paramount Cafe & Ballroom Barb Sandick says, “we will be introducing sandwiches that will be, made fresh daily. We are introducing the idea of some small takeaway salads, And of course, we have our usual soups and some grab and go items, but all that will, enhance our menu.”
Sandick explains, “one of the challenges with this time of year is that everybody’s sort of in tax season, and they’re not super excited about going outside and and spending discretionary income. So we try to make so we try to make our participation this year functional.”
The Albany will also be offering a lunch special and new desert bars that will help fund this years Restaurant Week non-profit partner.
That partner being Meals on Wheels Cheyenne, as proceeds will go straight to their cause, and in speaking with them they cannot wait to see residents out eating and drinking from the places that call Cheyenne home.
Rhianna Brand with Meals on Wheels states, “support local and then you’re also supporting a local nonprofit. So just thank you so much to everyone that’s going to go out and be involved in this. We’re really excited.”
Restaurant week officially begins this Sunday April 5, where the deliciousness and specials will run until the following Saturday, April 11th.
