From mushroom shish kebabs, lobster bisque and tuna tartare tacos to goat cheese croquettes, challah French toast and Sicilian gelato sundaes, Montgomery County restaurants are offering a myriad of dishes included in dining deals during the Restaurant Association of Metropolitan Washington’s Winter Restaurant Week.
Restaurant week initially ran through Jan. 25, with more than 20 local restaurants participating in the winter event offering promotional prices for brunch, lunch and dinner. However, due to the impacts of winter storm Fern, a selection of restaurants extended their restaurant week offerings until Feb. 8, according to the restaurant association. Those restaurants include ala and Pisco y Nazca in Bethesda, J. Hollinger’s Waterman’s Chophouse in Silver Spring, and Lia’s in Chevy Chase.
Before the storm forecast, a few restaurants offered restaurant week offerings that extended into February, including Motorkat in Takoma Park and Zinnia in Silver Spring. Those specials ended Feb. 1.
Participating restaurants are offering brunch and lunch menus for $25 or $35 per person and/or multicourse dinner menus for $40, $55 or $65 per person, according to a restaurant association press release.
More than 380 restaurants are participating across Maryland, Virginia and Washington, D.C. To make reservations, visit the RAMW Restaurant Week website or the websites of individual restaurants.

Bethesda
Modern Levantine restaurant ala is offering a four-course dinner for $55 with a $30 cocktail and wine pairing option until Feb. 8, according to the menu. Dishes include Za’atar labneh, mushroom shish kebab and pistachio baklava. 4948 Fairmont Ave.
Japanese Hibachi restaurant Benihana is offering a $55 dinner for winter restaurant week, according to the RAMW restaurant week website. The restaurant week menu was not available online. 7935 Wisconsin Ave.
Beth’s Restaurant, a casual American restaurant and bar next to ala, has a three-course dinner for $40 until Feb. 8, according to a social media post. Dishes include baked brie, grilled Old Bay shrimp and Callebaut fudge brownies for dessert. 4948 Fairmont Ave.
Matchbox, a casual American restaurant chain, will offer a $40 dinner menu until Feb. 8. 7278 Woodmont Ave.
Matchbox also has locations at 1699 Rockville Pike in Rockville and 919 Ellsworth Drive in Silver Spring that are offering the restaurant week special.
Morton’s, a classic American steakhouse, is offering a three-course dinner for $65 per person at its Bethesda restaurant during restaurant week. The restaurant week menu includes options such as lobster bisque, a 6-ounce center cut filet mignon and sour cream mashed potatoes. 7400 Wisconsin Ave.
The Salt Line, a classic New England raw bar and seafood house, has a three-course lunch for $35 and a three-course dinner for $55. Find both menus here. Restaurant week offerings end Feb. 8. 7284 Woodmont Ave.
Mussel Bar and Grille, a Belgian restaurant in downtown Bethesda’s Woodmont Triangle neighborhood, is offering a $25 three-course lunch and a $40 three-course dinner. The lunch special is only available from Thursday to Sunday. 4903 Cordell Ave.
Pisco y Nazca Ceviche Gastrobar, a Peruvian restaurant serving dishes with a modern twist, is offering a $35 three-course brunch, a three-course lunch for $25 and a three-course dinner for $40 until Feb. 8. Dishes include tuna tartare tacos and Lomo Saltado. 7401 Woodmont Ave.
Chevy Chase
Elena James, a modern American bistro in the Chevy Chase Lake development, is providing a three-course, chef’s choice dinner for $55 until Feb. 1. The dining experience aims to allow diners to “taste and explore food that our chef has specifically chosen for you, as if you know him personally,” the menu says. 8551 Connecticut Ave.
Lia’s, a neighborhood Italian American restaurant that has been operating since 2006, is presenting a three-course restaurant week brunch and lunch for $35, plus a $40 three-course dinner until Feb. 8. Dishes include seared octopus, rigatoni alla vodka pasta and the Saucy Nonna pizza with Italian sausage and fresh mozzarella. 4435 Willard Ave.
Gaithersburg
Charley Chesapeake Chophouse & Bar (formerly Charley Prime Foods), a casual seafood restaurant serving Eastern Shore classics at Rio Lakefront, is offering a three-course brunch and lunch for $25 and $35 and a three-course dinner ranging from $40 to $65 until Feb. 8. 9811 Washingtonian Blvd.
Kensington
Neighborhood gastropub The Dish & Dram has a prix fixe three-course brunch and lunch starting at $25 and a three-course dinner starting at $40 featuring sweet potato coconut curry soup, Coq Au Vin and crushed candied pecan poached pear for dessert. 10301 Kensington Parkway
North Bethesda
Caruso’s Grocery, an Italian American restaurant in Pike & Rose, is presenting a three-course brunch, featuring lemon ricotta donuts, and a $40 three-course dinner. 11820 Trade St.
Summer House Santa Monica, an American restaurant with California influences, is offering a $25 brunch on Saturday and Sunday only, as well as a three-course lunch for $25 and a four-course dinner for $55 offered through Sunday. Olney
Italian restaurant Salt & Vine has a three-course restaurant week dinner deal for $65 that runs through Monday. The deal features beef carpaccio, caviar bites, mushroom pasta and a Sicilian gelato sundae, according to the menu. 3308 Olney-Sandy Spring Road
Potomac
Founding Farmers, an upscale casual American farm-to-table restaurant, is offering restaurant week menus for a $35 three-course lunch and a $40 three-course dinner. 12505 Park Potomac Ave.
Silver Spring
J. Hollinger’s Waterman’s Chophouse, a restaurant offering steakhouse classics, a raw bar and fresh seafood, is presenting a three-course lunch menu for $25 and a three-course dinner for $40. The menus will be available until Feb. 8. 8606 Colesville Road
Milk & Honey, a New Orleans-themed restaurant specializing in Southern cuisine, is offering a $35 lunch menu featuring Cajun salmon chowder, roasted chicken and sweet potato bread pudding. The Daily Dish, a neighborhood bistro and bar, has a three-course lunch starting at $25 and a three-course dinner starting at $40 until Feb. 8. 8301 Grubb Road
Zinnia, a modern American restaurant, café and garden located in the Historic Mrs. K’s Tollhouse, will offer a three-course lunch for $35 and a three-course dinner for $40 featuring goat cheese croquettes, blackened catfish and a warm blondie sundae until Feb. 1.
Zinnia is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. 9201 Colesville Road
Takoma Park
Restaurant and raw bar Motorkat is participating in restaurant week for the first time, according to the restaurant association. The eatery is offering a three-course brunch for $25 menu, featuring dishes such as a croissant breakfast sandwich and challah French toast. Brunch is available between 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays.
A three-course dinner for $40 is also being offered from Tuesday through Sunday. Motorkat is closed on Mondays and does not offer lunch service on weekdays. Motorkat’s restaurant week offerings end Feb. 1. 6939 Laurel Ave.
Both Motorkat and Zinnia, which are under the same ownership, are offering their restaurant week menus for the entire month of January.
