Dallas-Fort Worth is home to seven of the best hotels in the world, according to Michelin’s latest roster of Michelin Keys.
Hotels earn Michelin Keys similar to how restaurants earn Michelin Stars, with visits by anonymous inspectors. Michelin says its selected hotels “excel in design, architecture, service and personality.”
The 2026 list of Michelin hotels with one, two or three Keys was released Sept. 18. On it, 359 properties are in the United States.

Which D-FW hotels received Michelin Keys?
Six D-FW hotels retained Michelin Keys after receiving awards in 2024 and 2025. One is new to the list: the Ritz-Carlton Dallas, Las Colinas. The hotel opened in the 1980s as the Four Seasons. It was rebranded as a Ritz in 2024.
The highest-distinction North Texas hotel on the Michelin Keys list is Bowie House in Fort Worth, an Auberge Resorts Collection property. The Bowie House earned two Keys, Michelin’s designation for “an exceptional stay.”
The Bowie House is D-FW’s only two-Key property. “It just might be the most stylish building in Fort Worth,” according to the Michelin website, and it’s “surely the city’s most extraordinary luxury hotel.” Bowie House is one of three hotels in Texas that earned two Keys. It was also featured in Taylor Sheridan’s oil-and-gas show, Landman.
Bowie House opened in Fort Worth’s Cultural District in 2023.

The second Fort Worth hotel with Michelin designation is Hotel Drover in the Stockyards, which received one Michelin Key.

The Drover was lauded as “unmistakably Texan but without crossing too far into kitsch,” Michelin said. Perfect match, then: The Drover was also shown in Landman.

The remaining four one-Key hotels are in Dallas.
Casa Duro on Dallas’ Greenville Avenue is the tiniest D-FW recipient, as it has three suites. “If we’re honest,” Michelin inspectors wrote, the guest quarters above sibling restaurant Sister “might be too small to be properly considered a hotel.” That didn’t keep the company from awarding it one Michelin Key because of Casa Duro’s “painstakingly collected” interiors full of character.
Hotel Swexan in Dallas’ Harwood District re-earned its one Key. The hotel is a few years old and in the heart of Dallas, with easy access to American Airlines Center, Klyde Warren Park and Uptown. The style is “cowboy entrepreneur: spacious, no-expense-spared rooms with commanding views, but also a freewheeling sense of humor and up-for-anything energy in the decor,” Michelin’s team wrote.

The nearby Hotel ZaZa in Uptown Dallas made the list again with one Key. ZaZa was lauded for its large guest rooms. Those who want to splurge could consider reserving a concept suite, which have themes like Japanese Zen, Texas chic and Parisian luxury.
Rounding out the D-FW list is the Rosewood Mansion on Turtle Creek in Dallas with one Key. “It doesn’t seem like a hotel, but an extravagant house,” Michelin inspectors said of the 143-room hotel housed in a mansion built in 1925.
“Everything is in excess,” they said, and “the rooms, naturally, are enormous.”

Did any D-FW hotel receive the highest award, three Keys?
Since Michelin launched its Key program, no hotels in North Texas have received the coveted three-Key designation.

Three-Key hotels offer “the world’s most remarkable and extraordinary stays,” according to Michelin.
In 2026, Michelin awarded nearly 3,000 hotels with one, two or three Keys. Just 155 received its top honor, three Keys. Fifteen of those are in the United States and none are in Texas.
