Frankie’s Dawg House Perkins, 2318 Cedardale Ave., Baton Rouge, is now serving brunch. The menu includes boudin omelets, chicken and waffles, breakfast bowls, kolaches, beignets, bottomless mimosas and more.
There’s a new cocktail menu at DiGiulio Brothers, 2903 Perkins Road, Baton Rouge, featuring a pepperoncini-tini, “Peach on Perkins” with peach liqueur and bourbon, “Flamingo to MARS” with cucumber lemon gin and more.
Don’t miss the September menu at Ruby Slipper, 3535 Perkins Road, Baton Rouge, featuring a peanut butter bacon burger, hot sausage smashburger, candied apple beignets and more.
CC’s Coffee House, with multiple locations in Baton Rouge, welcomes fall with seasonal beverages like pumpkin pie and caramel apple pie Mochasippis, pumpkin chai and toasted marshmallow matcha — available through Nov. 3.

Shipley Donuts is celebrating its 90th birthday with specials, including a new “Birthday Bullseye” doughnut with strawberry icing and a 1936 Shipley Favorites Box with a dozen classic donuts — both available through Oct. 18. The shop is located at 5565 Essen Lane, Baton Rouge.
For every LSU football regular season game, 7 Brew Coffee is hosting a new special, “Sips for Kicks.” Any time LSU’s kickers score seven or more points in a game, customers get a buy one, get one free offer on all drinks immediately after the game and through the close of business the following day. Cajun Navy rum dinner: 6 p.m. Wednesday, at City Pork Brasserie & Bar, 7327 Jefferson Highway, Baton Rouge
Join the staff at City Pork for a four-course rum dinner paired with cocktails using Cajun Navy spirits. The menu features fried shrimp tartine, crispy skin duck breast, country style ribs with coffee barbecue sauce and coffee rum cake. Shafter wine dinner: 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Oct. 8 at Bin 77, 10111 Perkins Rowe, Baton Rouge
Enjoy a four-course wine dinner paired with wines of Shafer Vineyards. The menu includes an amuse-bouche with a cocktail, an arugula and roasted beet salad with blood orange vinaigrette, barbecue pork belly, pan-roasted duck breast with roasted garlic polenta and Brussels sprouts, braised lamb neck and chocolate macarons with coffee buttercream. An ambassador from Shafer will be there for questions, and customers will be able to buy bottles at a discounted price. Tickets are $250 per person, available for purchase at resy.com.
