Wakefern Food Corp. is ramping up hiring efforts at its supermarkets across the Northeast this fall.
As part of a walk-up job fair set for Sept. 26, interested candidates can visit most participating stores for an on-the-spot interview, according to the Keasbey-based retailer-owned grocery cooperative.

According to Wakefern, full-time, part-time and management positions are available, depending on the location. Openings include general clerks, front-end associates, stocking staff and grocery department team members.
Wakefern said it is trying to fill hundreds of jobs across stores during upcoming hiring event.
The co-op’s footprint spans 380 independently owned and operated supermarkets across New Jersey, New York, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Delaware, Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Rhode Island.
All roles offer competitive benefits, according to Wakefern.
