Parker’s Kitchen to open first Florida store in October

Parker’s Kitchen will open its first Florida store in late October, the Savannah, Georgia-based convenience retailer said Tuesday. The retailer also announced that six other Florida sites are expected to be under construction in the first quarter of 2027, with more to follow. 

“The company’s goal is to open 12 new retail stores in Florida before the end of 2027, including one truck stop, as part of its dynamic growth strategy,” Parker’s said in a statement.

Parker’s Kitchen is No. 64 on CSP’s 2026 Top 202 ranking of convenience-store chains by U.S. store count. 

The retailer’s first Florida store, located at 75970 William Burgess Boulevard in Yulee, is in Nassau County and about 25 miles north of downtown Jacksonville. It is near the intersection of Interstate 95 and Highway 200.

Parker’s said it plans to open a record number of stores in 2027, deepening its commitment to expanding its presence in strategic markets and serving more customers across the Southeast.

“Entering Florida represents an important step in Parker’s Kitchen’s long-term growth strategy,” said Parker’s Kitchen CEO John Rudolfs. 

Rudolfs said north Florida is a natural extension of the company’s footprint.

“As we celebrate our 50th anniversary, we’re continuing to build on a strong foundation by expanding into markets where we see meaningful opportunities for growth,” he said.

On Sept. 15, Parker’s confirmed with CSP that Brandon Hofmann, who previously served as co-CEO alongside Rudolfs, left the company. Hofmann, who departed the company on Sept. 4, left to pursue other opportunities.

Founded in 1976 as a one-store operation in Midway, Georgia, Parker’s Kitchen operates 111 c-stores and is based in Savannah, Georgia.
