RIDGELAND, Miss. (WLBT) – A popular fast-food restaurant could be opening a new location on East County Line Road at the site of the former Logan’s Roadhouse.
At its meeting Tuesday, the Ridgeland mayor and Board of Aldermen considered several requests from Chick-Fil-A, Inc., to open a location at 600 E. County Line Rd.
The board approved the plans for Chick-fil-A.
McGee said the Chick-fil-A on County Line Rd will move to the former Logan’s Roadhouse site.
The existing building will be torn down, and a new Chick-fil-A will be built there.
According to documents, the restaurant will be located at the site of the now-closed Logan’s Roadhouse.
The facility will be approximately 5,030 square feet, include a drive-thru and share a drive with the 175-room Prado Hotel.
In 2020, the Clarion-Ledger reported Logan’s closed during the COVID-19 pandemic.
A Chick-Fil-A is currently located on East County Line Road in Jackson.
It is the only detached Chick-Fil-A in the capital city, with the other locations being inside Mississippi Baptist Medical Center and the University of Mississippi Medical Center.
Ridgeland currently has a Chick-Fil-A on Highland Colony Parkway.
The downtown Chick-Fil-A inside Regions Plaza closed in January 2025.
