On Sunday, P. Terry’s construction manager James Overton shared a video update on Facebook and Instagram about its upcoming Baybrook stand in Webster. This new P. Terry’s stand is being built at 18705 Gulf Fwy, near an H-E-B, Sam’s Club and fast food rival, In-N-Out.
‘We’re excited to bring P. Terry’s to Webster’
Overton said things are starting to take shape. With the building pad and site utilities complete, crews are ready to pour the foundation for the upcoming Webster P. Terry’s.
The Webster P. Terry’s will have drive-thru and dine-in service. Overton said it should open in the second quarter of 2027. Once open, it will be the restaurant chain’s sixth Houston-area location and the first in the southeast part of the metropolitan area.
P. Terry’s Houston takeover?
Katy appears to be next in P. Terry’s expansion plans.On Sept. 8, a permit was filed with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation for ground-up construction on a “P. Terry’s Burgers-Texas Heritage Market Place” at 29269 Katy Fwy. The chain hasn’t officially announced an expansion to Katy, but project details indicate that construction for the 4,056-square-foot space is set to be completed between January and August 2027.
P. Terry’s opened in 2005, drawing inspiration from ’50s and ’60s-era burger stands. The Austin restaurant chain has expanded across Texas, with locations in Austin, San Antonio and Houston.
