OKLAHOMA CITY, OKLA (KOKH) — Thanksgiving is right around the corner, but if cooking isn’t your thing or you need a break from hosting, here are a few restaurants staying open for Thanksgiving in OKC this year.

The Chalkboard Kitchen & Bar is hosting a three-course Thanksgiving feast from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. for $70 a person. Payment is required at booking. You can call or make a reservation through the links on The Chalkboard’s social media pages.
Castle Falls is opening its Grand Hall for a buffet-style Thanksgiving meal. Dinner includes roasted turkey, honey roasted ham, cranberry sauce, classic sides and desserts. Pricing includes $77.18 for adults, which includes tax and gratuity, and $38.59 for children 10 and under. You can make reservations here, and those with a party larger than four can call (405) 942-6133.
The Clove is open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Thanksgiving, serving up non-traditional dishes for those who may not be turkey or casserole fans.
Stella Modern Italian Cuisine & Lorena is putting together Thanksgiving meals for $225 that serve four to six people. Meals include roasted turkey breast, cornbread dressing, dinner rolls, and more. Orders are due by Saturday, Nov. 22 and pick-up will be Nov. 26. Call (405) 437-1011 or visit Lorena’s website.
The Jones Assembly is also jumping on the pre-maid meal trend with a $275 meal that serves six to eight people. You can order online by Nov. 23 and pick up Nov. 26. The meal includes a few classics like green bean casserole, stuffing and deviled eggs.
If you’re in the Norman area, several restaurants are staying open for Thanksgiving, including Sergio’s Italian Bistro, Dancing Crab, Abu Omar Halal, Tarahumara’s Mexican Cafe & Cantina, Classic 50’s Drive-In, Sabor Guanaco, and Old Number 9.
You’ll need to make reservations for Norman’s Rally Kitchen + Bar and Legend’s Restaurant. Bison Witches Bar & Deli’s kitchen is closed for the holiday, but the bar is open.
If you’re looking for comfort food or wondering if your favorite restaurant is open for the holiday, check out this list of chain restaurants:
Cracker Barrel is open on Thanksgiving Day from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. with a traditional meal starting at 11 a.m., which includes turkey, cornbread dressing, gravy, green beans, and sweet potato casserole. Cracker Barrel is also offering a “Heat & Served” meal that feeds up to 10 people. Orders require 24 notice and can be ordered through their website here.
Black Bear Diner is serving up meals from their regular menu until 11 a.m. and switching to its holiday menu for the rest of the day. Hours may vary depending on location, and diners can pre-order family-style holiday meals to go. Pre-orders start on Nov. 24.
Texas de Brazil is offering its usual menu from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., as well as some Thanksgiving-themed dishes to celebrate the holiday.
IHOP is open for Thanksgiving with hours varying depending on location and serving its regular menu as well as homestyle Turkey and stuffing for the holiday.
Denny’s locations are open nationwide with varying hours. Check your local Denny’s for hours. Denny’s is running a special for its $54.99 pre-cooked Turkey Bundle meal starting Friday, Nov. 21.
Rodizio Grill is open for the holiday from noon to 8 p.m., serving its regular menu along with Thanksgiving-themed options. It’s recommended to make a reservation for the holiday at (405) 788-7300 or visit opentable.com.
Waffle House is open 24 hours for Thanksgiving at multiple locations, so if you’re craving waffles, they’ve got you.
Metro Diner is open for business. The diner’s 3000 W Memorial Road location is open from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., serving up holiday specials along with its regular menu.
Saltgrass Steakhouse is open with hours varying by location. The steakhouse is offering a $23.99 Thanksgiving Day turkey plate for dine-in customers.
Fogo de Chao is open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day, serving its regular menu along with Thanksgiving classics for dine-in and carry-out. Guests can also order a Thanksgiving package, which includes roasted turkey and sweet potato casserole.
Perle Mesta is hosting a Thanksgiving brunch and dinner from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. at $75 for adults and $35 for children.
The Capital Grille is open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. and recommends making reservations. The Capital Grille is also serving up a pre-maid meal for $135 that serves four.
Applebee’s is open for Thanksgiving; however, hours vary by location, and the restaurant recommends calling ahead.
Golden Corral is open on Thanksgiving and is serving up holiday meals to go for up to eight people.
If you’re on the go this Thanksgiving, multiple fast food locations are planning to remain open, including: McDonald’s, Burger King, Wendy’s, Dunkin’, Krispy Kreme, Popeyes, Starbucks, Subway and Whataburger.
Thanksgiving is not always easy for everyone, but multiple organizations in Oklahoma City are working to ensure everyone enjoys a little tradition on Thanksgiving. Here are a few places in the city serving free meals on Thanksgiving:
The Edmond Community Thanksgiving Dinner is happening on Nov. 27 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the University of Central Oklahoma. Swing by the Bronco Room for turkey, mashed potatoes, green beans, pumpkin pie and more. No reservations needed, and food is served on a first-come come first-served basis. The dining room can only seat 220 at a time, so organizers ask for diners’ patience as they work to serve everyone. This year, Edmond Community is unable to offer delivery or drive-thru services.
Oklahoma City Rescue Mission is serving two meals on Thanksgiving, starting with breakfast, followed by a traditional Thanksgiving meal for its annual Thanksgiving Banquet.
