Community Cooperative invites the community to experience an unforgettable evening where imagination meets impact at “Becoming Cosmopolitan: Mad About Hunger”, presented by FineMark Bank & Trust, on Thursday, Oct. 8, at The Ranch Concert Hall & Saloon.
Inspired by the whimsical world of “Alice in Wonderland”, this year’s signature fundraising event transforms The Ranch into a one-of-a-kind wonderland featuring immersive décor, live entertainment, gourmet cuisine, specialty cocktails, exciting auctions, and interactive experiences, all while raising critical funds to help Community Cooperative provide food, resources, and hope to neighbors facing hunger and homelessness throughout Southwest Florida.
“Becoming Cosmopolitan reflects the compassion and generosity that make Southwest Florida such a strong community,” said Stefanie Ink, CEO of Community Cooperative. “The impact of this event extends far beyond one evening — it helps provide meals, resources, and stability for neighbors in need across our community.”
Funds raised during Becoming Cosmopolitan directly support Community Cooperative’s services and programs, including Sam’s Community Café & Kitchen, Meals on Wheels of Southwest Florida, Mobile Food Pantries, Community Market on Demand, Growing Healthy Kids and Families Program, Social Services and Education Resources, and other initiatives that provide relief and hope to thousands of individuals each year.
Community Cooperative is currently seeking event sponsors and businesses interested in supporting the evening through in-kind donations for the event auctions. Popular auction contributions include vacation packages, restaurant gift certificates, entertainment experiences, sporting event tickets, artwork, jewelry, specialty baskets, services, and unique local experiences.
