Surefire Coffee Co. is expanding into Midtown Nashville with a new location at 1501 McGavock Street, joining the recently opened Albion Music Row tower. CityNowNext reported in September that Surefire Coffee Co. and Asian street-food concept Dragon Alley will join the 29-story residential development, which has now fully leased its more than 10,000 square feet of retail space. An opening date for Surefire has not yet been announced.
According to CityNowNext, Surefire Coffee Co. will occupy approximately 250 square feet inside Albion Music Row. The compact space is expected to serve as a daytime destination centered around coffee, casual meetings, and community gathering. Albion Residential Executive Vice President of Development and Construction Andrew Yule said the two incoming concepts are intended to complement one another while bringing activity to the development throughout the day. It currently lists locations in Germantown, Brentwood, East Nashville, Bellevue, Broadway, Crieve Hall, East Bank, Old Hickory, and Berry Hill. The company’s website describes its mission as building community “one neighborhood at a time.”
Surefire’s menu is focused on coffeehouse staples and espresso-based drinks. Its catering and events page highlights lattes, cappuccinos, mochas, cold brew, drip coffee, breakfast sandwiches, and muffins, while dairy-free and flavored options are also available.
The company was founded around the idea of transforming a fire-damaged space into a place where people could gather over coffee, according to its official “Our Story” page. That neighborhood-oriented identity has remained central to the brand as it has added locations around Nashville.
Albion Music Row opened this summer with 458 residential units, ground-floor retail, and public outdoor spaces designed to connect the development with the surrounding Midtown and Music Row communities. CityNowNext reported that further details about the opening of Surefire Coffee Co. will be announced soon.
