NEWINGTON, N.H. —
Two marina-based restaurants in New Hampshire, Lexie’s Landing and Great Island Eatery, offer stunning waterfront views, affordable food, and a welcoming atmosphere for diners arriving by boat or car.

Lexie’s Landing, located at 61 Bean Lane in Newington at Great Bay Marina, provides plenty of parking and the option to dock your boat. KC and Lexie Cargill, owners of Lexie’s Restaurants, bring the cuisine they’re known for to the waterfront.
“So Lexie’s is known for our burgers. We serve a prime beef patty, quarter pound. We hand-cut French fries and kind of crazy toppings and outrageous toppings. But avocado on burgers, eggs on burgers, things like that,” KC Cargill said.
The menu also includes onion rings, fish tacos, and their popular bistro fries.
“Feast your eyes on those bistro fries. Bacon bits, parmesan cheese on top of our hand-cut French fries. One of our greatest sellers,” KC Cargill said.
Lexie’s Landing has a full liquor license, allowing diners to pair their meals with a cold beer or cocktail.
“We have a family of five. We want other people to have fun and be able to eat out and be able to come on this beautiful land and just see the water,” KC Cargill said.
The restaurant is also known for its breathtaking sunsets over the water.
“One of my greatest things about this place is you get sunsets over water in New Hampshire,” KC Cargill said. “The sunsets. You cannot beat the sunsets here,” echoed Lexie Cargill.
In New Castle, Great Island Eatery offers another marina-based dining experience at Safe Harbor Wentworth by the Sea.
“So we are at Safe Harbor Wentworth by the Sea. This is the Great Island Eatery. It’s right on the water,” said Brian Colford, head chef and general manager. “You see the huge boats that will come in the middle of the summertime to people being on their paddleboards or some people pull up on their kayaks for a quick bite as well.”
Great Island Eatery, part of the Lexie’s family of restaurants, serves familiar favorites like burgers and fries alongside unique dishes such as seared tuna tacos topped with pineapple salsa and hot-honey sandwiches.
“I would say we try to have, like, a good balance of fast-casual dining and also competitive pricing for being on the water as well,” Colford said.
Located at 116 Morgans Way in New Castle, the restaurant welcomes everyone, with ample parking and no membership required to dine.
“You do not have to be a member to come down. We have spots available for the restaurant,” Colford said. “If you go five minutes down the street, you’re always struggling to try to find parking. And we’re here. You have plenty of space.”
Both locations also serve Memories Ice Cream, offering sweet treats like ice cream sandwiches and scoops to top off a meal.
Whether you’re looking for a casual drink, a family meal, or a scenic spot to enjoy the summer, Lexie’s Landing and Great Island Eatery deliver waterfront views, great food, and a laid-back vibe just off the beaten path.
