Aldi is cutting prices on more groceries this fall, and the company says the move is meant to help shoppers get more from their grocery budgets.

The discount grocery chain announced Sept. 23 that it is investing an estimated $86 million in customer savings nationwide. Aldi says nearly one-third of the products it regularly stocks are now priced lower than they were a year ago.

The latest reductions come as shoppers settle into fall routines, with Aldi pointing specifically to healthier eating habits and the cost of putting nutritious foods on the table.

Aldi to lower grocery prices for fall 2026

The newest price reductions are expected to remain in effect from Sept. 23 through Nov. 3 at Aldi stores nationwide.

Aldi says the latest price cuts are part of its effort to operate more efficiently and pass those savings directly on to customers.

“Customers trust us to help them make the most of their grocery budget,” Scott Patton, Aldi’s chief commercial officer, said in the company’s announcement.

Patton said the company is continuing to look for ways to run its business more efficiently so it can pass savings along to shoppers.

Aldi also says its Kirkwood chicken breast family packs are now $1.99 per pound, the lowest price for the product since 2022.
