RAPID CITY, S.D. (KOTA) – From cafes to coffee shops and pizzerias, restaurants across the city are rolling out creative themed specials this week to attract diners and support a charitable cause.
Nana’s Cafe and Bread Company is among the local establishments drawing customers with an eye-catching offering.
Nana’s Cafe and Bread Company owner Joanna Jones said, “We do have a special this week, and it’s like a pancake breakfast sandwich, it’s two little pancakes, and with your choice of bacon or sausage, and eggs, and cheese. We have vegan cheese.”
The special is part of Rapid City Restaurant Week, running through Jan. 25. Each time a customer checks in at a participating restaurant, they are entered to win a grand prize package.
Whether longtime fans of Rapid City’s restaurant scene or newcomers seeking to discover something new, Restaurant Week offers the perfect opportunity to celebrate delicious food, support local businesses and contribute to a good cause.
Jones said, “I don’t know if people really understand what Restaurant Week is about, which is why each table we have the little folding deal, and it tells you about Restaurant Week. We’re trying to tell people about it too, so when they come in they can check in, and they can give that dollar to Feeding South Dakota.”
Nana’s Cafe and Bread Company makes everything fresh, with items being gluten-free and dairy-free.
