WARNER ROBINS, Ga. (WGXA) — A grocery store chain specializing in organic foods is coming to Warner Robins as early as 2027.
Sprouts Farmers Market began discussing plans to open a store in Warner Robins in September, with a commercial real estate company representing the grocer filing a petition to annex and rezone 12.65 acres of land at 901 South Houston Lake Road off Russell Parkway.
According to property records, the land has been owned by Annie C. Ryals Trust since 1937 and was officially rezoned from residential to commercial at a city council meeting on Dec. 16.

The organic grocery store is estimated to be a 23,273 square-foot facility with 13,600 square feet of additional in-line retail space, according to the annexation and rezoning application.

Headquartered in Phoenix, Arizona, Sprouts Farmers Market is “one of the largest and fastest growing specialty retailers of fresh, natural and organic food in the United States,” with around 31,000 employees and operates 410 stores across 23 states nationwide, according to the company website.
In a Facebook post, the city of Warner Robins government shared its excitement to see an option for healthier foods coming to the community.
The company told WGXA via email that it plans to open the Warner Robins store in 2027.
