HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – The Hawaii Food & Wine Festival returns for its 16th year, spanning three weekends from Oct. 16 to Nov. 8 across three islands.
The festival is a program of the nonprofit organization Hawaii Ag & Culinary Alliance. Organizers said ticket purchases will support culinary education, local agriculture, workforce development, and sustainability initiatives.
Since 2011, the HFWF has raised more than $5.2 million for the cause.
Event details
The HFWF is set to take place on parts of Hawaii Island, Maui, and Oahu and will feature nearly 100 chefs and culinary leaders from across the U.S. and abroad, including Canada and South Korea.
The lineup includes 18 new chefs and numerous returning participants. Wine professionals, mixologists, culinary innovators, local farmers, ranchers, and fishers are also set to attend.
More than 200 culinary tastemakers will participate in events ranging from brunches and a professional development conference to gala dinners, grand tastings, golf experiences, and culinary events.
As part of the event’s Traditions & Heritage theme, every participating chef is required to incorporate locally grown, raised, or caught ingredients.
“It reflects the cultural roots that nourish Hawaii’s culinary and agricultural communities through the ingredients we grow, the traditions we preserve, and the stories shared around every plate,” said CEO Denise Yamaguchi.

Tickets for the festival are on sale as of Saturday at 9 a.m. They may be purchased at the Hawaii Food and Wine Festival’s website.
