Fetish incident under investigation after man puts ‘foreign substance’ on woman’s clothes, deputies say
RICHLAND COUNTY, S.C. —
Authorities in South Carolina are looking for more possible victims after a man “placed a foreign substance on the woman’s clothing as part of a fetish” inside a Food Lion store.
The Richland County Sheriff’s Department was called about 8 a.m. to the Food Lion on Decker Boulevard.
Deputies said they spoke with a woman who said a man, later identified as Travis Henson, 29, “distributed a foreign substance that she believed to be a bodily fluid on her clothing while in the store.”

A DNA sample was taken from the woman’s clothing.
Deputies said they found Henson, who said he “placed a foreign substance on the woman’s clothing as part of a fetish but denied the substance being a bodily fluid.”
Henson was charged by investigators with third-degree assault and battery and voyeurism.
He was taken to the Alvin S. Glenn Detention Center.
Investigators believe that there are more victims with similar accounts with Henson.
RCSD encourages any additional victims to come forward and report such encounters to further investigate.
