I had a feeling Gordon Ramsay wasn’t finished with Minnesota yet.
After reports of the celebrity chef filming at restaurants around the state, we now have another Twin Cities stop to add to the list.
IS GORDON RAMSAY STILL IN OUR STATE?
Gordon Ramsay has been quite the popular celebrity in Minnesota as of late. There are GR sightings in many places. He was most recently reportedly spotted at O’Donovan’s Irish Pub in downtown Minneapolis, just a short distance from the Target Center.
GORDON’S A SMART MAN
I’m not completely surprised. I think it’s a smart move! He’s stopped by our state at a perfect time of year. Minnesota is busy right now. We are back to work, back to school, and the weather couldn’t be more perfect. I am starting to wonder just how many Minnesota restaurants Gordon Ramsay will visit before he heads home. I say the more the merrier!
GORDON RAMSAY VISITS HAVE INCLUDED GREAT LOCATIONS
Ramsay has already reportedly filmed at Lake Cafe in Big Lake, Pizza Factory in North St. Paul and Maggie’s Restaurant in Wayzata. Now O’Donovan’s appears to have joined the list.
According to a recent article, there are even more reports of Ramsay making the rounds in Minneapolis. He has reportedly been seen at Vinai, Gai Noi, Spoon & Stable, and Silver Fern Community Cafe.
That is a pretty impressive restaurant tour!

We first started hearing about Ramsay’s Minnesota visits when he showed up in Big Lake. Then came the North St. Paul sighting at Pizza Factory. Now we are seeing more and more reports from restaurants across the Twin Cities.
WE STILL DON’T KNOW WHAT SHOWS ARE BEING FILMED
Of course, nobody seems to know exactly what Ramsay is filming yet. That is the part that has a lot of people curious.
Minnesota has a lot of restaurants, and we have a lot of people who take food seriously. At a time when restaurant owners are dealing with higher costs and customers are watching their spending, having someone with Gordon Ramsay’s name and worldwide audience shine a light on Minnesota restaurants could be a pretty big deal.
I also love that this isn’t just a tour of the biggest, most famous restaurants in Minnesota. Some of the places connected to these reports are neighborhood restaurants and local businesses that Minnesotans already know and love.
For the restaurants involved, having a world-famous chef walk through the door is certainly something you would remember!
For the rest of us, it has turned into a pretty fun guessing game.
