(KTDY) – A trooper with the Louisiana State Police went beyond the call of duty recently after he noticed groceries in a stolen vehicle he pulled over.
If you speak to anyone in law enforcement, they willl tell you that there are some calls or vehicle stops that they will never forget, and here is one some LSP troopers may never forget.
According to a social media post by state police, they recently pulled an SUV over after it was reported stolen.
Once troopers removed the occupants and began investigating the stolen vehicle, they noticed groceries in the SUV. Yes, the driver was on a grocery delivery, and the person who ordered and paid for the groceries was waiting.
Knowing that, troopers removed the groceries from the SUV they pulled over and put the order into their own vehicle. After the traffic stop, they took the groceries to the woman who ordered them and was waiting.
However, I bet the woman who ordered the groceries did not expect a state trooper to deliver them to her home, but they did. As you will see in the photos shared by state police, she seemed to be very appreciative of their kindness.
I would have loved to see her reaction when a trooper walked up to her house with her groceries, and I’d have loved to see her face when she learned the person heading their way with the delivery was stopped for being a stolen vehicle.

In any case, the groceries reached the rightful owner, and many on social media are applauding the trooper for going out of his way for this customer, who might not have received her order if he hadn’t taken it upon himself to deliver them.
