3 women accused of vandalizing car with eggs and condiments in Cape Coral

Nehilah Grand-PierreCAPE CORAL, Fla. —

Three women in Cape Coral are accused of vandalizing an ex-friend’s car and home with eggs, milk, and condiments, leading to property damage and criminal charges.

Michael Santiago, a Cape Coral resident, shared his thoughts on how he would have handled the situation.

“Definitely not calling the police. I will 100% find out who it was,” Santiago said.

He added, “The way I grew up, you just got to handle your stuff.”

Police say surveillance footage from the Skyline Boulevard Circle K gas station captured the three women and a child reportedly purchasing the condiments on Sept. 25.

Adel Chapman, who owns Dream Dash Mobile Detailing in Cape Coral, said he has encountered a similar incident in his line of work.

“I had a customer call me one time. They were pranked. They didn’t know who the person was. They egged them. It was about a whole dozen,” Chapman said.

Chapman explained the challenges of cleaning egg residue.

“Especially in our Florida weather. Eggs have a lot of enzymes and proteins in them. If you let that etch onto the clear paint or the clear coat, it could leave a lot of etching,” Chapman said.

The victim discovered her Nissan covered in the substances around 4 a.m. and called police. Authorities also reported damage to the victim’s home. Police say they attempted to clean the car but said the paint began peeling.

The three women, Diane Merritt, Jocelyn Vizcaino and Allison Coram, face several charges, including property damage and causing a child to commit an act of delinquency.

“I think it’s very immature of people doing stuff like that,” Santiago said.
