Didn’t make it to every restaurant on your Flavor South Florida list this month? You’re getting another chance.

Flavor South Florida may officially end Sept. 30, but nearly 30 Palm Beach County restaurants are continuing their prix-fixe menus through October. Menus start at $25 and are available for lunch, brunch or dinner, depending on the restaurant.

The extension gives diners additional time to explore chef-curated, multi-course menus at restaurants ranging from neighborhood favorites to waterfront destinations.

Before making reservations, check the menu and ask if the Flavor South Florida promotion is available on your preferred date and time.

Most restaurants do not allow substitutions, and sharing is generally not permitted.

Take it from me: Ask for the Flavor menu.

Case in point: During a Friday afternoon visit to Red Pine after a doctor’s appointment, I assumed the restaurant’s Flavor South Florida menu wasn’t available because I was dining during an off-hour and ordered from the provided happy hour menu instead.

Only after devouring Red Pine’s famous dumplings did I ask about the Flavor menu’s availability. While I love those dumplings, Red Pine’s Flavor menu was among the promotion’s strongest offerings in September.

Had I known it was available, I would have ordered from it instead. Regrets.
