RAPID CITY, S.D. (KOTA) – Families across the Rosebud Sioux Reservation can get emergency food assistance following severe storms that prompted a tribal state of emergency.
Team Buche Cares began distributing food Aug. 15 and will continue making stops in communities across the reservation through Aug. 24.
The remaining distribution schedule includes:

Team Buche Cares President and founder RF Buche said the goal is to get food and other resources to families as quickly as possible.
The distributions come as tribal leaders and community partners continue responding to storm damage and immediate needs across the reservation.
Residents are encouraged to share the schedule with others who may need help. Organizers said times and locations could change and advised residents to check Team Buche Cares’ social media for updates.
