Federal Hill will be the site of evolution for an area salad chain. Nalley Fresh is opening in the Cross Street Market with an expanded menu sure to draw in established customers and new fans alike, reports the Baltimore Business Journal.

Nalley Fresh is taking over the stall in the 1065 S Charles Street market that previously housed DMV Empanadas. Owner Greg Nalley anticipates a rapid turn around, with plans to be customer-ready by late October.

Nalley Fresh’s upcoming Cross Street Market location will, of course, feature the salads and wraps it is already known and beloved for. The menu, however, will be expanded to feature “chow-licious” tavern-inspired dishes designed to appeal to the bar-going crowd craving heartier fare like brisket cheesesteaks after a night out.

Owner Nalley is looking forward to this new endeavor, saying: “I am excited. I think it’s going to be a lot of fun.”

Cross Street Market visitors will be able to stop into Nalley Fresh for a bite for lunch and dinner, 7 days a week. The small but mighty salad chain has become a hit thanks to its delicious and customizable menu, described on the website as: “Specializing in salads, wraps, and bowls, our menu bursts with over 80 fresh ingredients and 15+ international flavors. Whether it’s lunch or dinner, our house-made proteins and fresh-prepared dishes are customizable to fit your taste and diet – be it low-carb, keto, vegetarian, or anything else. At Nalley Fresh, you’re the designer of your healthy meal. Create your own, or choose from Chef Nalley’s signature selections. Fresh, flavorful, and made just for you.”
