At the beginning of September, we shared that a new Mexican restaurant was coming to town.

The restaurant celebrated its grand opening Sept. 16, according to Facebook.

They also have a sister restaurant in Sunnyside.

The menu consists of pollo asado, quesabirria and more.

When construction work wrapped up earlier this year, food trucks from across the Tri-Cities began to move into the 8-site park.

The new park was a $400,000 project, according to previous reporting.

Laura McAllister confirmed on Facebook last week that the park was at capacity. Several other trucks have moved to the park from elsewhere in the Tri-Cities.

Trucks like Tropic Hunger, which was at Columbia Gardens Artisan Village, and Cap’n Dave’s Fish & Chips, which was at Summer’s Hub in Pasco, are open for business.
