The Lynnwood location features a double-lane drive-thru and is the second location in western Washington.

LYNNWOOD, Wash. — Lynnwood’s new Raising Cane’s opened Tuesday, marking the chain’s fourth restaurant in Washington state and second in western Washington after the opening of its University District location in February.

The new location, featuring a double-lane drive-thru, held a grand opening celebration Tuesday that included a giveaway in which 20 customers won free Raising Cane’s for a year. More than 100 people camped outside the location Tuesday morning, some of whom had been waiting since noon Monday.

One Cane’s fan, Rosa Murillo, has been documenting the location’s development for more than 200 days. She said she had been camped out since noon Monday to experience the opening after following its progress.

“I just went on my TikTok one day and I was like, ‘You know what, this is cool. I love to see things start from nothing and see it follow through,’” Murillo said.

She said she documented the progress rain or shine, which caught the attention of the company.

“They love it,” Murillo said. “I’ve gotten a PR package from them, and my TikTok’s growing.”

The Lynnwood location, at 1232 164th St. SW, will employ more than 170 workers and is open Sunday through Thursday from 10 a.m. to 1 a.m. and Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 a.m.
