Thousands of Gatorade drinks were recalled across the country due to an “undeclared” food dye, including in Kentucky.

PepsiCo, owner of Gatorade, recalled 122,021 cases of Gatorade drinks sold to customers across 37 states on Sept. 25, according to a report from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration. The recall also affected states surrounding Kentucky such as Ohio, Indiana and Tennessee.

The recall was issued as a result of undeclared yellow no. 6 and undeclared yellow no. 5 having been found in the affected products.

Numerous products were involved in the recall:

The FDA classified this as a Class II recall meaning exposure to the recalled product could cause “temporary or reversible adverse health consequences.”

There have been no reported illnesses tied to the recall as of Oct. 6.
