The chain eateries join Primrose Schools as recent businesses that have signed leases for the redeveloped grocery store that closed its doors in 2020, according to Charter Realty. The real estate company represented landlord, V20 Group, in the deals, it announced on Facebook on Tuesday.
Chipotle, Jersey Mike’s and Primrose Schools will join Club Studio, which was previously announced as a new tenant for the space in 2025. Club Studio, a luxury fitness studio with a location in South Windsor, has yet to open in the space. Its website lists both the Stamford location and Norwalk location at 761 Main Ave. as “coming soon.”
Primrose Schools will occupy 16,167 square-feet, Chipotle has 2,519 square-feet and Jersey Mike’s has 1,176 square-feet, according to Charter Realty.
The gym will occupy 37,000 square-feet of space, according to previous reporting.
Charter Realty noted that a lease with a grocer is “nearing signature.” The unnamed grocer would occupy an 13,080 square-foot space in the building. With those sites occupied, one more 11,270 square-foot space would be left to be leased, Charter Realty said on Facebook.
Primrose Schools, a franchise of private preschools, will be opening its first Connecticut location in Stamford. Meanwhile, Chipotle and Jersey Mike’s would each be welcoming their second locations in the city.
