BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) — Dumpling Hour, a new Asian fusion restaurant, recently opened its doors in Baton Rouge.

The restaurant at 7474 Corporate Blvd. opened on Sept. 2, in the space that used to be Serop’s Cafe. Manager Corinna Wang said this is the first Dumpling Hour to open in Baton Rouge and the third to open in South Louisiana.

Their original location opened in 2024 at 3535 Ambassador Caffery Parkway in Lafayette, and the second restaurant opened last year at 1911 Chemin Metairie Parkway in Youngsville.

Those locations are award-winning, earning Acadiana’s Choice for Best Asian Restaurant (gold) and Acadiana’s Choice for Best Chinese Restaurant (silver) over the last two years.
