In-N-Out is opening a second location in Vancouver, Washington, expanding its presence in the Northwest.

VANCOUVER, Wash. — A second location of In-N-Out Burger opens on Thursday in Vancouver. This is the second southwest Washington location to open in the past year.

The new location at 13511 SE 3rd Way will seat 84 people inside with outdoor seating for 28 more customers. The restaurant will open at 10:30 a.m.

Some fans of the chain lined up early Thursday for a chance to be one of the first customers through the doors.

In August,  In-N-Out opened a restaurant in Ridgefield, Washington, marking its first venture into the state. The grand opening drew crowds that stretched around the block with people waiting for hours to get their favorite burgers and fries.

For Northwest enthusiasts of the double-double, there are also four In-N-Out locations in Oregon, including in Roseburg, Medford, Grants Pass and Keizer, and three locations in the greater Boise area.

In the fall, the company purchased a 71,600-square-foot industrial building in Portland, according to real estate company Cushman and Wakefield, which could signal more expansion plans in the region.

“In-N-Out® plans to utilize the newly acquired space to serve the Portland market, creating new jobs and expanding its footprint in the region,” Cushman and Wakefield said in a release.

The Portland Business Journal had previously reported on plans for additional locations in Beaverton, Hillsboro and Gresham.
