EUGENE, Ore. – A three-day street fair is taking shape in the heart of the University of Oregon campus, and this year it’s a sell out.

The Fall Street Faire runs today through Friday along 13th Avenue. The Associated Students of the University of Oregon puts on this biannual outdoor festival featuring food trucks, arts and crafts, jewelry, clothing and more. Information will also be available about campus clubs and ASUO organizations. All proceeds from vendor fees help fund student food security and campus food programs.

“With the fall term we have so many returning students, so many new students, so the street fair is really just a great way, especially because it is week three of the term, so it is super early,” said Melissa Perez-Palestino, ASUO’s executive secretary for the Street Faire. “So it’s super great to just kind of get everybody together in one place.”

“Super fun a lot of students come they love it and so I think it’s just gonna be a great week full of obviously the weather is great too so definitely just a great week of fun community engagement and really having people just come together and just enjoy all the local goods that are here in Eugene,” said Melissa Perez-Palestino, ASUO executive secretary.

The street fair each day is from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. It is free and open to students, staff and the general public.

Another street fair is scheduled for May.
