Snowport opens for its sixth season on Friday, November 6; the grand opening is less than a month away! This year’s market brings together more than 130 independently owned businesses, so you can shop handmade gifts, chat with makers, and eat your way through Boston’s favorite holiday market.
The vendor lineup leans local: 61% of businesses are based in New England, 82% are BIPOC- and/or women-owned, and 16% are new to Snowport this year. The Makers Show, which produces the market with Boston Seaport by WS, built the lineup around underrepresented entrepreneurs.
Among the vendors, you’ll find Drift Collective (upcycled clothing), Hillside Harvest (Caribbean sauces), Wicked Ducks (rubber duckies) and Rosey Design Co. (Boston-themed apparel). Newcomers include Joe’s Fresh Fish Prints, Nantucket Perfume Co., ScienceSeeds (hands-on STEM kits), and Un Pueblo, which sells handwoven Mexican tote bags.
The Snowport Scholarship Program returns with 11 recipients, including Boston Soap Co, La Marée Art and Nivas, all new this year. With support from Visa & Main and Boston Seaport by WS, the program gives these businesses funding, marketing guidance and mentorship through the season. The full vendor list is on the Boston Seaport holiday market page.
The 10,000-square-foot outdoor dining area has 17 food and beverage concepts and an après-ski look, with red Adirondack chairs and faux fire pits. The menu runs from Baked Cheese Haus’s Swiss-style raclette and Dumpling Daughter’s dumplings to hot lobster rolls from newcomer Island Creek, French crêpes and pastries, and deluxe hot chocolate from The Fat Cactus.
Mohegan Music Mondays, in collaboration with Berklee College of Music, start at 5:00 p.m. each Monday on The Stage by Mohegan Sun. Emerging Boston artists play from November 9 (Triinity Lee) through December 21 (Mia McIntosh). More live music runs Tuesday through Thursday.
The Creativity Corner by The LEGO Group offers daily drop-in crafts, and on Tuesdays a free LEGO make-and-take build while supplies last. Photo spots include the 12-foot Mistletoe Arch, Presents Place with oversized wrapped gifts, and the 25-foot Winter Wish Wall chalkboard.
General admission is free every day through a walk-up line. On weekends, you can reserve an arrival time through the Seaport Insider app with a fast pass: $15 per adult, $7 per veteran and $7 per child ages 6–17, with children 5 and under free. Of each ticket sold, $1 goes to Boston XChange, a non-profit founded by Jaylen Brown that supports entrepreneurs.
