Guy Fieri is an American restauranteur, author and Food Network star who is best known for his role as the host of the hit show “Diners, Drive-In’s and Dives.”
On this show, Fieri travels around the U.S. to visit unique, local restaurants and share the stories behind the establishments, as well as highlight cuisines and the people who craft specific dishes.
The show focuses on showcasing small, family-owned restaurants throughout the U.S. that have a special aspect, whether it’s culinary specialties or unique cooking techniques.
Guy Fieri visited one Louisiana restaurant during 2026 season of “Diners, Drive-In’s and Dives”
Over the course of 55 seasons of “Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives,” Fieri has visited over 20 restaurants in Louisiana. While Fieri has not visited any Louisiana joints so far in his show’s current season, he did visit one Louisiana smokehouse during season 54.
In April 2026, Fieri traveled down to New Orleans to dine at Bourrée, a Cajun smokehouse and USDA-registered farm that specializes in butchered meats and Southern Louisiana flavor.
This eatery is famous for its po’boys and wings, but Fieri was won over by the boudin grilled cheese that comes with seasonal mustard and jalapeño pepper jelly.
Other standouts on Bourrée’s menu include beef fat fries, meat pies, pepper jack stuffed boudin balls, pork sliders, as well as a selection of boudin links and wings.
