PRINCE FREDERICK, Md. — Wonder will open its new Prince Frederick food hall later this month, bringing more than 15 restaurant concepts together under one roof.

The restaurant will hold a soft opening from Monday, Sept. 21, through Wednesday, Sept. 23, followed by its official grand opening Thursday, Sept. 24.

During the soft opening, customers can register for a time slot on the restaurant’s website to receive a free meal valued at up to $15 while the restaurant’s staff completes training. The offer is subject to promotional terms.

On grand opening day, the first 100 customers will receive an exclusive Wonder gift with a purchase. Customers can also place orders ahead of their arrival.

The new location is at 625 Solomons Island Road North and will be open from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. seven days a week.

Wonder operates differently from a traditional restaurant or food court. Each location prepares food from several restaurant brands in one kitchen, allowing customers to combine different cuisines in a single order.

The Prince Frederick location is expected to offer options including pizza, pasta, barbecue, burgers, tacos, Thai food, Mediterranean dishes, salads, sushi and desserts.

Restaurant concepts listed by Wonder include Bobby Flay Steak, Streetbird by Marcus Samuelsson, Yasas by Michael Symon and Walnut Lane by Jonathan Waxman. Other available brands include Tejas Barbecue, Detroit Brick Pizza Co., Burger Baby, Limesalt, Wing Trip and Room for Dessert.

The concept is designed for groups or families who want different types of food but prefer to place one order. A customer could order pizza from one restaurant concept, barbecue from another and dessert from a third without making separate purchases.

Customers will be able to order for dine-in, pickup or delivery through Wonder’s website or mobile app. The company says delivery orders do not include a delivery fee.

Wonder operates a growing network of locations across the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic. The Prince Frederick restaurant will join the other Southern Maryland location in Waldorf, as well as locations in Annapolis, Bowie, College Park, Frederick and several additional communities.

Registration and more information about the soft opening and grand opening are available on Wonder’s website.
