The chain’s Huntsville location is no longer taking online orders and has deactivated its web page. FOX54 has reached out for more information.

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. — Agave & Rye, the taco and cocktail restaurant at Bridge Street Town Centre, appears to have closed permanently

The Huntsville location’s website is offline. Agave & Rye’s corporate website no longer lists Huntsville on its page of locations. Delivery ordering sites also show the restaurant is no longer available, though there was no signage posted Thursday morning at the restaurant itself.

Phone calls to the restaurant during its normal operating hours were unanswered. FOX54 has reached out to the company’s headquarters for more information and will update this story when we learn more.

The restaurant opened in 2021. Agave & Rye describes itself as a modern tequila and bourbon hall. The company is based in Covington, Kentucky, and the Huntsville restaurant was its first in Alabama.

According to the company, each restaurant has a look unique to its location, blending the original Agave & Rye concept with the surrounding community. Its menu features what it calls “EPIC tacos” and signature craft cocktails.

Agave & Rye’s closure is the latest change at Bridge Street Town Centre. Other closures this year include Kona Grill, Bravo! and Bite Me Cupcakery, which is a dessert chain owned by EPIC Brands, the same company behind Agave & Rye.

Incoming restaurants at Bridge Street Town Centre include North Italia, which opens next week, and Shake Shack, slated for 2027.

The shopping and entertainment destination recently asked for feedback as it looks at other possible additions to its lineup of stores and restaurants.
