Charles County’s Restaurant Lineup Keeps Growing: Two More Spots Coming To La PlataCredit: Holy Burger

LA PLATA, Md. — Charles County’s restaurant lineup is growing again, with two more spots now planned for La Plata.

The additions come after several other restaurants were previously announced across the county and featured in The BayNet’s earlier “From Brunch To Burgers: New Restaurants Coming To Charles County” roundup.

Aladdin’s Royal Palace is planned for 120 Rosewick Road, while Holy Burger is coming next door at 122 Rosewick Road. Both are projected to open in spring 2027.

The two restaurants will take over the former Bollywood Masala space, which previously occupied 120 and 122 Rosewick Road before relocating to Waldorf. Bollywood Masala is now located at 3804 Crain Highway, Waldorf, MD 20603.

Holy Burger’s website lists the La Plata address among its locations, confirming the restaurant’s expansion into Charles County. The New York-based concept serves burgers, chicken sandwiches, sliders, hot dogs, fries and milkshakes, with vegan and gluten-free options also available.

Holy Burger says its concept centers on high-quality, ethically sourced burgers with New York roots. Its beef is provided by Hal&Al Meats, and the restaurant also offers halal, vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free options. Signature items include the Holy Burger, Holy Chicken, Classic Burger and Plant-Based Burger, along with fries and soft-serve milkshakes.

No official website or social media page for Aladdin’s Royal Palace could be located as of publication. The BayNet will share more details as additional information about the restaurant becomes available.
