Motor Supply Co. Bistro and Di Vino Rosso have once again been featured by the Michelin Guide American South, earning coveted spots on the list of recommended South Carolina eateries for the second consecutive year.
Covering Alabama, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Atlanta, this year’s edition of the Michelin Guide American South highlighted 265 restaurants across the region, including 27 in South Carolina.
Recognizing dining establishments that demonstrate exceptional quality, creativity, and consistency in their cuisine, restaurants receiving a Michelin recommendation are selected by anonymous Michelin inspectors and evaluated on five criteria, including the quality of ingredients, harmony of flavors, mastery of cooking techniques, and how the chef’s personality is expressed through the cuisine across the menu.
“Being recognized once was an honor. Being recognized two years in a row means even more, because it reflects the work our team puts in every single night,” said Motor Supply Co. Bistro owner Eddie Wales. “For more than 30 years, this restaurant has been shaped by seasonal ingredients, the farmers and producers we work with and the people who gather around our tables. This one belongs to all of them.”
